I am grateful for my ancestors…
those I knew…if only for a little while
and those I did not see…
grateful for all the gifts they handed down to me
And knowing I too am an ancestor
some of my family will have known me for a little while
others I will never see
I hope is one day they will also be grateful
for the gifts handed down by me
