When it comes to my children,
grandchildren and
great-grandchild
today I’m grateful I understand….
how love and time work together…
how the two of them go hand-in-hand…
Because when it comes to love…
as a parent
I have a head start
as love for my children has always
so quickly
found a comfortable place in my heart
It’s why I can say with confidence…
how I’ve fallen in love with every child in my family…
long before they knew who I was
and they fell in love with me.
