PRECIOUS LOVE

 

There are all kinds of love and ways to love in this world

from the moment you arrive until the moment you are gone…

There’s your love for one another, your love for family and friends, 

There are loves so precious to you…you hope they never end.

There’s your love for your God, your pets, for food, for the Earth

for the animals…from the dolphins to the fawns…

from the mountain to the rain, to the rivers to the sunsets…

the list goes on and on….

 

And while you’re on this Earth…before you float to the heavens above

nothing is more precious…more amazing…more beautiful…than love.

When it comes to people…once you’ve found your precious love

there are two things you need to do…

Never let another person’s hate make you feel your love is wrong…

or that there’s something wrong with you.

And if that love is truly precious to you…nurture it ever day

never let it go…or do something to throw that love away.

For a precious love, if you allow it, can change you down to your core

It can help you be a better person then you ever were before.

And, if you treat that precious love as precious, often you will find

It’s so abundant that when you do float off to heaven

You’ll have more than enough love to take with you…

and more than enough to leave behind.

And even when you’re no longer physically here

wouldn’t it be nice to know

the people you left behind are holding on to your precious love

and will never let it go
