May we be blessed to think more about our children….
and remember before they are grown…
how the one life we have is ephemeral…
meaning our years here…are all on loan…
So while we’re here…we would be wise
to adhere to this enlightened Native Nations philosophy….
How our children are the living messages we send
to a future we will not see…
To think hard and long…on this subject
to make sure our mind is clear….
as to the message we want our children to share with the world
when we’re no longer here
