LOVE TRAIN

 

History is rampant with different trains of hate…

like the latest train claiming to make America great.

But history also shows us that every train of hate… 

though powerful at first…quickly loses steam…and every time we find…

Death, destruction, heartache and sadness is what they leave behind.

Trains of hate have come and gone…but if you look closely you will see

there is only one train of love…and she’s been running throughout our history.

In the midst of this latest train of hate…when we’re wondering how to cope…

as saddened as we are…there are many reasons for hope…

Because In the midst of this animosity…the one thing we have gained…

are all the people…previously silent…who have boarded the Love Train.

And as more and more people become disgusted…tire of this hate

and yearn for a world with peace and love restored…

those of us already on the train are welcoming them aboard.

While the train of hate has room for only a select few…and many are being shown the door 

on the love train…everyone is welcome and there is always room for more.

The good news is there is still time for peace and love to reign…

There is still time for everyone to climb aboard our Train…

For those of you still riding the train of hate…

who have forgotten what’s it’s like to be kind…

You better hurry because the train is about to leave the station

and you don’t want to be left behind.

If history is any indication…the train of hate you’re riding is not as powerful as it seems

and the love train will still be accepting passengers 

when your train runs out of steam.
